running different tires

Postby Nebraska2000ES » Sat May 20, 2006 11:11 pm

Well, seeing how it's midnight before the event i doubt anybody reads this but I thought I'd post anyways.

I swapped out my front tires (Kumho MX) for regular all-seasons but I left my regular wheels/tires on the rear.

I assume this is legal since I saw a neon @ Nationals last year do the same thing, but I wasn't sure.

Hopefully I get there early enough that if I need to change I can but I doubt anybody would contest it anyways.

As long as all tires meet the safety rules (or the Stock class tread limitations) you should OK I believe. Of course... if you were a Kumho contract driver, you might be in trouble if you weren't on Kumhos.
