This year's trip to Las Vegas for the SCCA national convention was VERY fun.

Besides the cars I drove there were lots of other beautiful/fast autos there.

Right next door was Nellis AFB. The Thunderbirds were out as well as some other interesting aircraft.

After my "issues" last summer, it seems like a good idea!

BTW, except for the shots of the Lambo's, Mark Walker was the photographer for my day at the track. Thanks, Mark!

p.s. He was sent to get pictures of cars. He got pictures of cars, airplanes and pretty girls. I have taught him well!

Definitely. The road course is 7 turns in 1.4 miles. Tight and things happen quickly. My best time was in the Aston Martin Vantage S. Averaged 69.8 mph and hit a top speed of 101 mph. The Ferrari F430 F1 is a faster car but needs a driver with better reflexes than mine. My best time there was about a second slower than in the AM.

LOL, I figure 'slow' in an Aston or Ferrari is relative. I'm sure it didn't seem slow from the drivers seat. :o
