Area Dynos

Postby dfink » Wed Feb 14, 2007 9:19 pm

Just looking to see who the area dyno operators are. Need to do a couple of runs to get chip info and setup the base A/F ratios.

If you go to:

http://www.nestreetscene.com/index.php

There's a list of vendors, and it looks like there's 3 or 4 different places in Omaha/CB that have dynos if you want to shop around.

Sad but true... I was his last customer of his dyno tuning career. Actually was in his shop on his last day right before he locked up for good.

What a superb tuner and even better human being. I considered it an honor for him to tune my cobra :!:

He mentioned that he might be doing consulting on the side for whoever bought his operation; however, I am uncertain of what ever happened with that. If you could find out who bought his operation, it would definately be worth a call to see if EJ was still working his magic.

I would go to dynosport.

Dyno Dan knows his stuff and is one of the coolest people I know.

Thats where I dyno'd my cars.

Actually.........EJ has closed his shop but is not completely retired. He will be working with the folks who bought his dyno for about 6 months training them and just assisting with getting it going. It is a Corvette shop that bought it........sorry......forgot the name and the location. Think its somewhere out near 144th and I80........

Aarion........you might have been the last before he officially closed his doors.........but.......I was there two weeks ago and saw an absolutely gorgeous white show Pantera getting its spin on right before he tweaked a certain Corvette for the last time.......

Sure, steal my nostalgia :P

Glad to hear that EJ is imparting his knowledge and experience on to someone local. If you remember the name of the shop, be sure to post :bounce:
