News and Announcements

Steve discussed Spring Nationals are full but Nebraska Region Members have priority if on waiting list.

Majors Race has been cancelled this year in Nebraska region.

Still waiting for a update in condition of track at RPM.

Preparing for Spring Nationals

Fence crew setup (May 22) and tear down (May 28) after Nationals are completed.

Welcome dinners served on Thursday evening and Saturday evening.

Test-N-Tune hours to be determined . Volunteers needed to help.

Minutes: Shana Hogan

Shana emailed Minutes to board members and also can be read in monthly Exhaust Notes. Steve motioned to accept the Minutes. All for.

Chris emailed the report to board members. Chris discussed the report.

Chris also discussed a storage unit Club rented wasn't needed anymore. Anthony Jackson motioned to let storage unit go. Chris Harrison second. All for.

Membership: Tony Mitera (not presesnt)

Tony sent email report to board. The work on the new member site progresses, albeit slowly.

Need to work with someone to create Rallycross-specific documentation, much like we have at the Autocross events.

Activities: Anthony Jackson

Anthony discussed the #1 Solo event was on April 7. The #2 Solo event is on April 28 with a Test-N-Tune on April 27.

The Rallycross Super Weekend School and Twilight on May 4 and May 5.

Spring Nationals will be on May 23-27.

Registration and Timing Software: Ben Tusa (not present)

Compliments to Ben Tusa for all his work he's done.

Race Workers: Candy Gerber (not present)

Nothing to report.

Solo Chair: Julie Heaton

Julie discussed Joey Green is the course designer for #2 Solo on April 28.

Julie needs a course designer for June 2 Solo.

RallyCross: Mike LoveJoy (not present)

Mike sent a report to board members.

Super Rallycross weekend school and twilight to be on May 4 and Rallycross on May 5.

May need to move the Boxters@Baxters event to coincide with the Oct Rallycross.

Still looking for alternative sites for Rallycross events. Eagle Raceway, Anthony will check with Eagle raceway. Innovation Campus, the old state fairgrounds and racetrack. Steve will check this site out. Industrial park (Fletcher and North 70th). Chris Harrison will check out this location.

Mike also announced he is going to be a Dad in October. Congratulations!

Steve also announced a request for Chiefs, writers and announcers for the National Rallycross.

Steve motioned for the Rallycross site to be graded after the May event. Anthony Jackson seconded. All for.

Steve motioned to put deposit on D.C. Center for banquet. Chris Harrison seconded. All for.

Justin asked Steve how often the activity points should be posted . If there's any discrepancy on points please let Justin know within 30 days after posted. After 30 days no changes will be made.

Street Survival: Mark Atterbury (not present)

Mark still needs a few volunteers to help on June 1. Please contact Mark if you can help with Street Survival.

Focus Session

Special Solo events. There was a discussion about challenges and matches possibly with another region, Nebraskhana, etc.

Old Business

Proposal by member Josue Aleman Motoya. Josue discussed his proposal to board. The board at this time decided its to early and still in the development stage to help .

New Business

Sara discussed how online voting for board members would be validated this year. Also can still use the paper ballot to vote and be mailed. Suggested profiles of board members be wrote so Members could see who and know who would be up for election.
