Secretary’s Report

Shana Hogan emailed last months minutes to the board members. Motion to approve by April Walter, Mark Walker second. All for.

Treasurer's Report

April Walter sent out an email and presented the financial information to the board members. Motion to approve Mark Walker. second by Steve Ducharme. All for.

Activities report

Steve Ducharme stated the test and tune will be held on April 11, 2015 and the first activity points for Solo will be April 12, 2015. Annual tech will be held on both days.

Also discussed a possibility to hold one later in Omaha at the ‘Cars and Coffee’ for those who still need to get the annual tech done.

Mark walker also mentioned that Hoosier Tire would not be there on April 12.

Competition Chair

Steve Wilson said the race group said the past trophy’s were still ok to use. Maybe present awards at the Mid-Am event.

RallyCross Report

Steve Ducharme said all went well for last two Rally Cross events. Doug Leibman mentioned he had received money from Jerry Doctor to help pay for last two Rally Cross lunches and ask for suggestions to raise money to continue serving future lunches at the Rally Cross events. One suggestion was possibly using money after the breaking point, go to entries to pay for them. Chuck Garcia donated $100 dollars and another $100 that was received from winning the World Of Wheels ‘Best of Show Display’ . Steve Ducharme also donated $50 to help out with the lunches. Thank you Chuck and Steve for contributing.

It was suggested to make June 13 and 14 a two day event with a RallyCross school held on the June 13, 2015.

Mark Walker said May 2, 2015 would be a starting line school and May 3 would be the Solo day.

The “Ollie Webb” charity event was requested to be held on July 12, 2015. Patt Buell will call and find out if that date works for them.

Mark Walker also requested for a course designer for Sunday and Monday after the Spring Nationals.

Points Keeper

Candy Gerber handed out the points sheet to the board members.

Membership

Julie Heaton emailed the membership report to all the board members.

Social Chair

Chuck Garcia presented the Award to the board members for the ‘best of show display’ at the World Of Wheels. Chuck reported we had a lot of people interested in our events. But expenses were higher this year than in previous years for the auto show.

Facebook Report

Jon Simmons and Ben Tusa asked if they could use the $10 allotted each month to boost the Facebook account each month. This had been approved previously.

Banquet Chair

April Walter has made reservations at the DC Center for Jan. 23, 2016 the fourth Sat in January. The Center said they would serve free desert this year.

New member Committee

Suggested a Novice Class for solos be added for new members and they would not receive points or eligible for trophy’s and not be in any Pax class.

Would also like to have an information table set up at Solo and Rally Cross events to help answer questions.

New Business

April Walter asked Candy Gerber to be the Worker Chief for this year, she accepted.

Mark Walker said the generator was fixed and the board approved to pay Dave Fink for that generator. Mark also stated the generator in the tailor has also been fixed.

Discussion for trophy medals was tabled by Candy Gerber.

New RE

Patt Buell nominated Candy Gerber for the new RE. After discussion April asked Candy Gerber if she would accept the position. Candy Gerber then requested Dave Zitzlsperger to be the assistant RE. Mark Walker move to motion , Chuck Garcia second. All For.

Addenum to March board minutes

Mark Walker moved that we add a test-n-tune to the May 2nd schedule in conjunction with the Starting Line school. He will advertise the event.Candy Gerber second. Passed
