News and Announcements

Eleven Nebraska drivers were at the RallyCross Nationals. Steve won the drawing for two days at DirtFish Rally School. Congrats, Steve!

Nebraska Region and The Rebels were honored at Solo Nationals with trophies.

The Hoosier gift certificate will be raffled at the Solo #7, $1/ ticket.

A request was made to donate cones to Puerto Rico Region. Approved. We will collect the cones and deliver to Topeka.

Nominations meeting is on October 1st at 7:30pm at Legends Bar & Grill, Omaha.

Regular Club Business

Minutes from previous meeting were approved.

Sara presented a quote from Oh-K Fastprint for printing the ballots.

Treasurer: Chris Harrison

We have money.

Get bills submitted to Chris ASAP.

Using MSR for payments makes things easier.

Membership: Tony Mitera

The loaner helmets are expiring, need to order more: 1 small, 2 medium, 2 large, 1 x-large. $500 to order up to five helmets. Andy motioned to approve, Chris seconded.

Kevin thanked Tony for emailing novices to get help on the Nationals practice course.

Activities: Anthony Jackson

We had ProSolo and Solo Nationals. Rallycross #6 (on the track again at I-80), and members attended RallyCross Nationals.

Upcoming, we have the Solo Fun Day (RX scoring) and Solo #7. RallyCross #7 on October 20. Solo #8 on October 27. RallyCross #8 on November 10.

Solo practice course workers need their free entries.

Club Racing: Kevin Kopecky (not present)

Kevin would like to step down due to time commitment. Need to find new Club Racing chair.

Race Workers: Candy Gerber (not present)

No report.

Solo Chair: Julie Heaton

Julie checked on the helmets. They are currently sold out of large, will order two medium and XL for now.

Discussion on setting up MSR for Saturday events.

Thanks to Tony and Andy for doing the courses for Solo #7.

RallyCross: Mike LoveJoy (not present)

Need a new group picture, Sara screwed up the camera settings.

Potential new site - will need to check over the small trailer for hauling cones from I-80. Can run the event from the truck if the large trailer is too big for the site.

Need to get current Activity Points for the newsletter.

Will wait until after October 1 to put out the newsletter, to get profiles from BoG Nominees.

Any rule changes need to be done before the first event of the year.
