Regular Club Business

Minutes: Shana Hogan

Shana said that she had emailed the Minutes to the board members. Some said they didn’t receive them possibly went in a spam folder. Steve said he saw the Minutes and they looked ok.

Treasurer: Chris Harrison

Chris emailed a report to board members . No further discussion. Steve motioned to approve . Kevin seconded. All for.

Membership: Julie Heaton (not present)

No report.

New Members: Matt Sittel

Matt had nothing new to report.

Suggestions were made: First event set up a table where new people could get information about the Autocross.

Maybe person at the gate could give new people a handout about Autocross. Where to register, tech, etc.

Chris Harrison discussed maybe a handout about Introduction to Autocross.

Also, maybe Novice drivers could put there flashers on in grid. Then a experienced driver could ride with the Novice driver.

Newsletter: Sara McEnhill

Sara said if anyone had something to put in newsletter let her know. Suggestion to interview a new Member or one Board member once a month.

Social Media: Ben Tusa

Ben said there was more activity online With social accounts like Facebook, etc.

Activities: Anthony Jackson

Anthony discussed Solo #1 was cancelled due to weather and there is no Activity points for April.

The Rallycross Super weekend went well with 17 drivers on the Sunday RX event.

May 5, 2018, is a Test-N-Tune, with Starting Line School. Annual Tech will be on Sat also 1-3. Sunday May 6, 2018, is Solo #2. The Spring Nationals will be held the end of May 25-28, 2018.

Rallycross: Mike Lovejoy

Mike said the RX Super Weekend went well. Going to talk to 1-80 speedway about site improvements.

Solo Chair: John Hunter (not present)

Hunter asked to step back from Solo Chair but would like to keep role of course design instructor and mentor.

Club Racing: Kopecky (not present)

Nothing to report.

Lincoln Airpark: Mark Walker

Spring National fence set up on Tues May 22 5 pm. Wed May 23 Hoosier will be testing there tires.

Points: Deb Erpelding

Deb will get the points updated. Old Business: None

New Business:

Steve asked Mike Lovejoy to see if his company would help sponsor a Street Survival School in Omaha.

Also ask Mark Walker if the school could be held in parking lot where Mark Walker works.
