Not as many feedback responses this time, but did learn that most people are hearing about events via referrals rather than Facebook or the website. Events continue to be rated 'Very Good' and 'Excellent'.

Novices have indicated they would want to sign up as a novice withing their vehicle's normal class rather than a separate Novice class. Need to figure out how that would work.

Two responses from Novices interested in helping out at Nationals.

Bill Pemberton suggested certificates or other recognition for the Novices. Nebraska Region Exhaust Notes - September 2019

Activities: Anthony Jackson

We had Solo #6 and a Test-n-Tune.

MiDiv had 126 entries.

Solo Nationals is coming up, August 29 – September 6.

RallyCross #6 on September 16.

RallyCross Nationals on September 20–22 in Indianola, Iowa. Registration and Timing Software: Ben Tusa

Issues with on-site registration. Need to look up walk-ins in MSR to make sure to get all info (address, etc.)

Riders also need Weekend Memberships, but no charge.

Club Racing: Kevin Kopecky (not present)

RPM may be up and running for 2020, though still needs some work.

Will try to get a race scheduled at Hastings for 2020.

MPH is up for no-reserve auction on October 9th.

DMVR suggested a joint PDX at the end of October/early November at RPM.

Race Workers: Candy Gerber (not present)

No report.

Solo Chair: Julie Heaton

Positive feedback for the two courses at July TnT.

There was a problem with people reconfiguring the course without talking to the course designer and Safety.

Good reviews for the MiDiv. Appreciated extra runs.

Tony Mitera is designing the course for the September 29th Solo.

The September 28th Solo "fun" event will be in RX format: every run counts.

Suggestion to do Novice awards in the grid.

We need to fix the generator and microphone (see New Business).

Bill P. apologized for not getting the decals on the truck yet. Woodhouse will still do the decals.

RallyCross: Mike LoveJoy (not present)

Steve will bring magnets/decals for trading table at RX Nationals. Possible site on 370 next to Werner Park, but it has crops and is for sale.

Boxers@Baxter. Will need to ask Mike about this.

Sara suggested disposable dust masks to hand out to course workers at RX, especially since the I-80 track is so dusty.

Website: Sara McEnhill

Sara is working on adding an announcement box to Live Timing.

Focus Session Board Elections

Nomination meeting will be held on October 1 at 7pm at Legends in Omaha.

Nominations can be submitted at the meeting or to the secretary (secretary@nrscca.com).

Old Business

Request from Bill Pemberton. He won the Free Club Race at the banquet, but the race was cancelled this year. He requested a reimbursement for Solo events instead ($375). Board approved.

Banquet. Need to start planning. Need volunteers for the banquet and for awards. Check with Mikaela Cox about coordinating and put an announcement for volunteers in the newsletter.

New Business

Generator in the trailer is broken, possibly the breaker. Need to get it fixed.

The microphone needs to be replaced. Kevin suggested a wireless system. The Board approved $300 for a new microphone for the PA system.

Nationals Practice Course: need more volunteers, along with the Rebels.

Meeting adjourned at 9:35pm.
