News and Announcements
The board meeting will be held a week early next month, on August 22nd.
Jim and Shawn McNeil have offered to sell food at the solo on July 27-28, with proceeds going to the Shana Hogan medical fund.
Idea to have patches/magnets/decals for Nebraska region that can be traded with other regions' members. Proposal for a mix of magnets and decals (for the Corvettes).

Tony has been reaching out to novices with surveys. Better response using Survey Monkey. Mainly positive feedback.
Julie bought 3 new full-face loaner helmets. Tony will keep track of loaner helmet usage by novices.
There has been an incident with forging a parent's signature on the minor waiver. Proposed solutions are to call the parent at registration and/or use flags in MSR. If there's any question on validity of a waiver, bring it to the attention of the Safety Steward.

We've been using the track and infield at I-80 for RallyCross. It's been working well.
es Moines Region has a solo at RPM on August 17-18. Proceeds will go to flood repairs at the track.
We've had 90 weekend members so far this year.
MiDiv is coming up. It was decided to close registration at 6pm Wednesday to have enough time to create heats and worker assignments.
Fun Run event in September will be an autocross using rallycross rules: cumulative times. Will need to figure out how to handle that in Pronto. Tony is doing the course for the regular Solo the next day.

- Ten NRSCCA drivers at the Heartland event.
- Kevin K. is working with Eric (DMVR) and George (Hastings) to secure a date for a 2020 race at MPH (Hastings).
- Some complaints about event scheduling conflicts. Also need better trophies.
Race Workers: Candy Gerber (not present) No report.

MiDiv preparations
- Registration discussed under Activities
- Do sponsors get work assignments? Decided on "no".
- Gate person needed post-competition? No, that's up to airport security, since waivers no longer need to be checked.
- Food: welcome dinner (pizza) and Saturday (catered from Super Saver). Chuck had difficulty finding volunteers, so make helping with food a work assignment?
- Julie is in the process of sending out Friday work assignments for registration, gate, and Tech.

Picnic has been moved to August 11 at the Chalco Hills Recreation Area, from noon to 6pm. Kevin McEnhill will be making smoked brisket again, along with chicken. Bring a side dish to share.

Need to find an Omaha site this week or else the Omaha Street Survival in October will not be able to happen. Kevin M. will check with Werner Trucking and Bellevue University.
Good set of volunteers established, could support 12-16 students.
Maximum driving/minimum classroom is important.

Old Business
Board of Governors election. The Board approved Sara McEnhill as interim secretary while Shana is recovering, so that she can work on getting ready for the Board of Governors election. If Shana is still recovering, the completed paper ballots will be mailed to Sara. Possibilty of using MSR for online voting, Sara and Anthony will check into it. Otherwise, Sara can create an online voting site.
