Treasurer’s Report
John LaRandeau presented Treasurer’s Report. Couple outstanding checks to go out for club race. Motion by Matt Cox to approve, 2nd by Candy Gerber. All for.
Membership Report
Julie Heaton presented membership report. 242 members currently.
Club Racing Report
Matt Cox reported that between the two races in July was almost broke even. A few small expenses still coming out, but till a good financial outcome. Motion by Candy Gerber to reimburse Bob Herman for expenses like dinner from the race. 2nd by Dave Fink. All for.
Solo Report
Discussion on charity event with the Mustang club on 8/10.
Divisionals have 57 entries currently. Need 112 to break even with budget. Prior to event, Evo School test and tune on Friday. $75 for all the runs they want.
Nationals gate schedule done and handled. Test and tune for that as well. Should be a pretty large course. $45/4 runs $10 of which goes to the SCCA foundation. Motion by Matt Cox to pay Rebel’s Auto Club $500 to take care of gate at National’s. 2nd by Candy Gerber. All for.
Saturday night solo trials being setup. 75 car limit. High speed, 90 mph max solo. Have to stay and help tar down course if entered. Howard Duncan wants to do this. Would be same requirements as Club Time Trials.
Sept. 25th track solo scheduled at MAM. Will be solo point event.
RallyCross Report
RallyCross Divisional/National Challenge normally does not count towards Championships (RallyCross points). Cut points events from 6 to 5. Jerry Doctor as pointskeeper wants board to decide if this will be a points event. Motion by Candy Gerber to make this not a local points event (but still for divisional points) and non-activity points. Reassign activity points event to Sept. 28th solo. 2nd by Patt Buell. All for.
Jerry Doctor brought up no October points event scheduled yet. Looking to see if Oct. 12th is available at LAP and to make that the activity points event. Motion by Matt Cox to add this event as the October points event pending site availability. 2nd by Dave Fink. All for.
Thursday October 9th will be the membership meeting for Nominations to the Board of Governors. Ballots would go out by Oct. 12th and meeting to count them on Oct. 30th. Can nominate someone by email to secretary or send someone to the meeting if not available to go themselves. (Patt Buell, Dave Fink and Julie Heaton up for re-election.)
Motion by Matt Cox to have nomination meeting at Legends on Thursday Oct. 9th at 8:00 pm. 2nd by Patt Buell. All For.
Discussion about 2015 race schedule and possibility of 1 day event for cheaper costs.
Road Rally Report
Rally currently scheduled for November points event, but no rally master yet. Tabled for now.
Club Racing Report
42 entries for next race so far. That would make a loss on the event, but there is a deposit already paid that would be lost if canceled. We also have a credit with the National Office at the moment.
Brand new asphalt at MAM. Also they now sell ice at MAM.
Old Business
Mark Walker purchased batteries for the radios.
