We intended/hoped that we could identify the photographer for each photo used at this website and give credit where it was due, and for a while we did try to do just that. However, so many years after the fact, it became painfully obvious to us that the task of correctly identifying the photographer for each photo displayed at this website was impossible.
Below is a list (in a somewhat chronological order by photo dates) of some of the many photographers we wish to thank, even if we don't know for certain which photos they took.
If you know (or even suspect) that we have incorrectly identified a photo, please let us know so we can correct our error ... and thanks to some interested individuals who have done just that!
We welcome donations! Your photos will be carefully handled and returned promptly. If you have any photos to donate, please send an email to: .
Your photos will only be shared with individuals who would like copies for their own enjoyment. They will not be shared with those who intend to make a profit from their use unless you authorize it.
Our thanks go to Patt Buell for hundreds of hours of dedication to the scanning and restoring of the old photographs which are presented here.
We are happy to provide copies of photos for individual use. We WILL NOT provide copies of photographs to anyone who is going to use the photos in any manner which will result in that individual making a profit. If you meet this criteria and would like a free digital copy of a photo, send an email to and she will email it to you.
How to identify the photos: Please provide the name of the PDF, the page number, and the location of the image on the page or some other unique identifying characteristic of the photo. Do not, under any circumstances, ask us if we have photos of a particular person, or a particular car, or a particular place. We will not do your research for you. Find the photo, then contact us.
If you would like to get a copy of a photo printed on photo paper (rather than a copy sent via electronic media), there will be a small charge to cover the cost of the photo paper, ink, and mailing. For example: an 8 x 10 copy of a black and white photo would cost approximately $10.00. To request a price for a particular photo, please contact .
The photographs displayed at this website are used with the permission of the individual photographers, their surviving family members, and/or the Board of Governors of Nebraska Region Sports Car Club of America, Inc. The individual photographers, their surviving family members, and/or NRSCCA retain all copyrights.
We take our responsibility for the use of the photographs seriously. In several cases, the photos were donated posthumously by a family member or were donated by a member who has passed on after the donation was made. No, we will not give you contact information for surviving family members. In most cases, we already know who will, and who will not, give permission for the use of their photos.
DO NOT share any of these photos on Social Media.
All requests for use require the written authorization of the copyright holder. The webmaster does not have the original photographs. Write to the person identified under "Want copies?" with your request.
