In Memoriam: Lydell "Oats" Otley

A good friend of the Nebraska Region, Lydell “Oats” Otley, passed away on April 21st. Lydell was a member of the Rebels Auto Club and has been a big help with our Test and Tune course at the Spring and Fall National Solo events for over ten years. He worked in the trailer checking in drivers, accepting payments, and monitoring the timing equipment.

I am please to call Oats my friend and will miss him dearly.

Pick an hour or two between 9 am and 5 pm to help us clean and organize at Lincoln Air Park. Besides straightening up the site, container, and trailer, we need at least two volunteers to strip the old vinyl decals off of the trailer. Enter at Gate 44, NW 34th Street & West Mathis Street, Lincoln, NE 68524.
