First order of business was nominees for the 2011 Board of Governors. Nominated were: Bob Herman, Matt Cox, David Fink, Dave Zitzlsperger, Lael Cleland, Patt Buell, Candy Gerber and Stan Cisar. Because all members did not receive a timely notice of our membership meeting, the Board decided to accept nominations by postcard until October 18th. The postcards will be mailed to all members by Saturday October 9th. If any member wishes to add to the list of nominees, they can return the names to Secretary Ann LaRandeau by October 18th. Ballots will be mailed out by Tuesday October 19th. The ballots will be opened on November 4th at an extra meeting for that purpose.

The next Board of Governors’ meeting will be November 18th, a week earlier because of Thanksgiving.

Items of discussion from the floor:

The new trailer was discussed and financing for the trailer. Should we have parallel Ladies Classes, Ladies Pax Class or just have the ladies drive in the open class? More on this later. Discussion about the MPH race last weekend. All agreed it was a good race. More discussion on the 2011 race schedule and schools. Discussion on our on line registration and how to get more people to use it.

Discussion on when the newsletter should be mailed to members in order to get information out in a timely manner. This will be left up to the editor. Mark discussed different types of timing displays.

Motion/second to adjourn, Mark Walker/Patc Henry, approved by all, meeting adjourned at 8:55 pm.
